Friday - 9.10

πŸ‘‰ 18:00-19:30 Ruvi workshop - Musicality and emotion (1h30min)

Definitions and differences of groove and flow, how to apply them and identify groovy or flowy music or movement. The second block is more focused on dancing through emotion with different kinds of songs.

πŸ‘‰ 19:30-21:00 Alyson workshop - Listening your body when dancing (1h30min) - ALL STYLES

To connect with dance, we need to connect with the present moment: the music, our sensations, our bodies... It’s important to be mindful so we know what we’re dancing and why. The class will focus on various exercises for physical and emotional awareness, as well as exploring our values and goals as dancers


Saturday - 10.10

πŸ‘‰ 11:00-12:30 Lard workshop - Electro basics + choreo (1,5h)

This class is going to give you the canon basics of electro dance through Lard's perspective, precisely its grooves and music connection, basic moves with movement quality control, freestyle & concepts development techniques.

πŸ‘‰ 12:30-13:30 Ruvi workshop - Textures and energy (1h)

Exploring different textures and energy in dancing, drills to understand body control and intention.

πŸ‘‰ 13:30-14:30 Alyson workshop - Tackling anxiety and nervousness when dancing (1h) - ALL STYLES

The class will explore what competing means to each of us, why it’s important, and what our expectations are when we compete. The goal is to reframe and challenge overly demanding expectations and to practice self-compassion and mindfulness.

πŸ‘‰ 14:30-15:30 Ruvi workshop - heel-toe technique (1h) - ALL STYLES

This is a technical class, focused on what the heel toe tool can give you for footwork - variations, and ways to control it by experimenting with different positions and transitions.

πŸ‘‰ 15:30-16:30 Alyson workshop - Groove and intentional movement in electronic music (1h)Β - ALL STYLES

In this class, we'll learn to become aware of how our bodies prompt us to move to different types of electronic music. Based on those movements, we'll explore the ways we can take control of our movements.


Sunday - 11.10

πŸ‘‰ 12:00-13:30 Lard workshop - hardstyle (electro) basics + choreo (1,5h)

The teacher will share his findings in the history of this dance style and its connection to electro dance, music influence as well dance techniques.

πŸ‘‰ 14:30-16:00 Gina workshop - int/adv shuffle/shapes choreo (1,5h)


ℹ️ NB! "ALL STYLES" labelled classes are classes about different concepts and tools that can work for many different dance styles, electronic music (house, trance, techno, electro etc) will be used in classes to explore these techniques.

ℹ️ If the class name doesn't specify level then the class level is accessible for everyone but experience with dance classes is recommended, so that you can integrate the tools and concepts into your own style and practice.
