This film explores the evolution of a revolutionary freestyle dance style that emerged from Melbourne's underground party scene in the late '80s. The Melbourne Shuffle, akin to the birth of Breakdancing, encourages individuality and incorporates various dance moves, such as miming, popping & locking, liquid, and breaking. At its core, the Melbourne Shuffle revolves around footwork, which constantly evolves. Locally known as "Rocking," the name "Melbourne Shuffle" was coined by overseas visitors and the media trying to capture this phenomenon.
