My name is Julia and I am a self-taught shuffle dance enthusiast from Finland and since 2021 also its teacher. In 2015 I probably saw shuffle videos for the first time on the internet and that’s when I decided I wanted to learn that dance. Here I am still on that path and it’s been 8 years since I started this dance. My dance style is not only focused on one shuffle style, but I am also influenced by different dance styles. I started out mixing cutting shapes but since then my style has changed to melbourne and today it’s a mix of everything. I have a dance background from my youth: hip hop, street dance and ballet, but I think the biggest influence is also aerobic gymnastics, which I also practiced when I was younger.
