๐Ÿ‘‹ Meet Axelle Ebony Munezero

Axelle Ebony Munezeroย is an internationally recognized whacking dancer, teacher, and community builder. Born in Burundi, raised in Montreal, and now based in Finland, she has developed a unique style shaped by mentorship, exploration, and her own movement method.

She is the co-creator of Hot Mess, Canadaโ€™s first all-whacking battle, and co-founder of the nonprofit 100Luxย and the Festival of Whacking Art-Fulness. Her work spans stage, battle, and commercial worldsโ€”from performing at the Apollo Theater and Sadlerโ€™s Wells to collaborating with artists like Dominique Fils-Aimรฉ and choreographing for Olympic champions Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron.

Axelle is an award-winning dancer and respected judge who has won major international battles and taught across the globe. Known for her integrity, creativity, and warm presence, she continues to inspire dancers to connect with their authenticity while pushing whacking forward worldwide.
