👟 What to expect?

Shuffle & Cutting Shapes Choreography (Beginner/Intermediate level)

This workshop is designed for beginner–intermediate dancers and focuses on a combined Shuffle

& Cutting Shapes choreography. The choreography is structured between 4 and 8 counts of 8 and

includes foundation elements from both styles, blended in a natural and musical way. You will work

on shuffle and cutting shapes foundations, fluid transitions, groove and travel specific to shuffle,

and footwork control. The choreography also includes my personal punchlines and signature

motions, the elements I usually use in my own choreography and freestyle, making it a personal

and expressive experience.

Freestyle Workshop (Beginner & Intermediate level)

This workshop is designed for beginner–intermediate dancers who want to understand what

freestyle really is and how to build it step by step. We will focus on how to start a freestyle, how to

connect with the music, and how to avoid repetition. The workshop explains the differences

between freestyle in a friendly environment, freestyle in a cypher, and freestyle in a battle. The goal

is to give you structure behind freestyle so you feel more confident, free, and in control.

Musicality & Control Workshop (Intermediate/Advanced level)

This workshop focuses on musicality, control, and freestyle development. We will break down how

to enter, develop, and finish a freestyle with intention. A strong focus is placed on interacting with

multiple layers of music to create variety in movement and motion. You will work on combining

movements with groove, controlling intensity, and shaping your freestyle while developing your own

personal style.

Battle Masterclass

Before battles, there are always preselections. This workshop focuses on increasing your chances

of passing preselections before entering battles. We will cover what preselections are, battle

criteria, and what dancers should expect in a battle environment. You will learn how to start,

develop, and finish a battle round, while understanding musicality and music structure under

pressure. After understanding preselections, we will apply these concepts directly to battles with

clarity and strategy.

TheSofa is a Romanian shuffle & cutting shapes dancer, Battle of Europe Choreography Champion 2024 and 2025 and TSL 2025 3v3 Winner. With over 7 years of experience, he brings high energy, strong foundations, and a deep understanding od electronic music to every workshop.
