🕺About Bernanfloww

“Greetings! I'm Berna, or that's what friends and family call me. Also known as Bernanfloww, I'm a freestyle dancer, originally shuffle dancer.

My artistic roots go back to my childhood. From a very young age, my idol was Michael Jackson. My older sister also danced, so I was always in an inspirational family environment. Around the age of 10 new passions opened up for me: instruments, musical language, musical production, electronic music and DJing. Although I began my musical and instrumental studies at that time in the artistic schools of my town Villa de Moya, it was not until years later that I was able to start practicing with the disks and synthesizers in a self-taught way.

I started my professional dance career in 2020, although I’ve trained since 2018 in multiple dance styles, such as Waving, Animation, Tutting, Hip Hop, Afro, and others. As a primal style, I dance and study Shuffle since 2017. I have experience as a teacher and judge since 2018 and have been co-organizer of multiple events carried out and organized by the crew that I belong, Canarydanceconnection.

Since 2019, I also started studying as a DJ and a music producer. Today, I dedicate myself almost full time to dancing, dance battles and music as well as providing training in person and online all around the world.”

👟 The workshops

Berna will be giving us two workshops with different topics. Both workshops are suitable for beginners and intermediate level students. You only need to know the basics: running man, t-step and charleston. Nothing else is needed. 🙂

Groove & Body Consciousness

Understand what is our body and be councious about our movement, exploring all areas on detail and searching us inside our dance! This class is perfect for understand your personal roots of your dance and achive your ownstyle.

Mixing Style & Textures

Learn how to add different textures to your dance and mix it with other styles in shuffle, it’s important to not forget our essence. But we will take a closer look on that as well.
